Kyllikki Talikka

Kyllikki describes her life in Sweden as a Finnish war child. Finnish war children were those Finnish children who were sent to other Scandinavian countries during World War II, mainly to Sweden. She emphasises that later it was forbidden to talk about her childhood and that describing oneself as a "war child" was seen as something unacceptable.
