Tiiu Jürvetson (Männistu)

Tiiu Jürvetson’s family lived in Tallinn before and after the war. Later also on Saaremaa and then in 1944 the family escaped to Finland where they lived one year and then moved to Sweden where they lived 5 years before leaving for Canada. Tiiu and her brother grew up in there. The first years in Canada were difficult but their father and mother were working hard to bring the family through. They also participated in the activities of the Estonian community in Canada.
